The AOI-E.MERCK National Award was awarded to him for the same. The technique has also been published in national and international journals and is well recognized all over the world. In 2008, Dr Indorewala was invited to Harvard University, in the USA for a lecture on his research work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The RAF Cooper award was awarded to Dr Indorewala for conceptualizing and developing the Anterior Tympanotomy surgical technique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The only institute in a private setup with a single speciality to have DNB accreditation for training postgraduates in ENT in Maharashtra state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The institute finds its privileged place in the \u2018LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS 2011\u2019 (page 232) for the highest number of stitch-less ear surgeries (5741) done anywhere.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Shabbir Indorewala\u2019s name is included in the Marquis Who\u2019s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Fifth Edition, 2004-2005.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The only hospital in North Maharashtra to have all advanced audiological equipment for early detection and treatment of hearing loss in newborns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One of the few centres in Maharashtra where Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (BAHA) surgeries are performed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The only institute in the country that has been conducting an \u201cEar and Sinus Surgery Workshop\u201d as an educational activity for fellow ENT surgeons with hands-on dissection (in collaboration with V.P. Medical College).
